Hi Stuart, not sure if there's a connection with our lot or not - the only Tribes we have are Sarah Tribe my Great Great Grandmother, born 1824 who married James Cole Clarke. Her father Thomas Tribe (probably born in the 1790 / 1800s) could have had more children, we don't know for sure, though the area seems about right. I've passed this on to my dad, who is the genealogist (I just update the website), maybe he knows more. Would be great to find out if there's a connection or not. So you have no info further back than Fred Tribe?
