⬆️Matilda Grant

Hi Roy,

Winterton Stoke was on the 1881 census entry, so I assumed it was correct. I have just checked the 1891 entry and guess what! it says Winterbourne. Matilda is my father's grandmother. These are the marriage details in the church register:

April 12 1873 John Samways 26 & Matilda Grant 25. Signed by both fathers Thomas Samways & Frederick Grant in the presence of x the mark of George Grant & signed by Elizabeth Watkins. So! we might be related. Have you got any more infomation to share?
