There was a light dusting of snow on the cars when I got up this morning but not too bad, but about 8am it absolutely blanketed us. It caused confusion and delay on the roads, I saw cars sliding off the road on Hospital Hill. Clare tried to go to work but got as far as the bottom of Battery Point before giving up. Another car had slid down the road and crashed through a fence there, and all roads out of this area (which are all uphill) were closed.
By mid morning it was all gone again, very strange indeed. Don't know if we'll see more.
