Back to my favourite pub after work yesterday. A full evening there, lots of chat with friends. Then a Chinese takeaway for the walk home. Then we heard live music coming from The Bell so stopped in there too. It was very quiet, apart from the music, but they had a real ale on and the singer was good. Then taxi home, hence the very short walk recorded for last night that will show up here somewhere.

No parkrun today, felt like resting it after the recent illness. Possibly back to it next week before we go to Maidstone. Looks like we were in Maidstone pretty much exactly twenty years ago, think that was the first time I went rather than the last time I went. Not been much though.

I have been basically relying on the fact that I had won the Euromillions all week. I have had a ticket, that I had not checked, and I heard there was one UK winner. So it's me, right? I have been using plans of how I would spend it to relax myself to sleep all week. I have even been looking at new houses - maybe Saltwood House at only £3.5M, or there was another place nearby that had it's own helicopter hangar. Well, it turns out I did not win, I did not even get one number. Someone else won. Not sure what to do now. I didn't even win on the premium bonds this month, not a sausage, though T2 won £50.

Today, some DIY. I need to replace a dripping tap in the kitchen. Is that a job for me or a plumber? I'll have a go first, then call an expensive emergency plumber later when I flood the place I expect. Oh a trip to the comic shop too, I think my Groo The Wanderer is in.

Wife is at hairdressers now and then going out out, to Canterbury. T1 also has plans I think, so might be just me and T2 deciding what to watch on TV.
