The solar panels I mentioned here, I have been thinking about our energy usage while we were on holiday. The BBC story says

If you look at our energy usage while we were on holiday my background "always on" usage is about three quid a day and when I'm here it's more like eight or nine. Would be nice to see it make an impact on this graph.
I see also though you're only allowed one unit per house at the moment so I can't go buying a new one each month to build up my own little farm though. Might need an outside socket too, but I have wanted one for the balcony anyway.
