Friend is looking for a new sling bag, so I have also been looking. And now I'm looking at mine again. Everyone says my pacsafe sling bag 1 is too big, it's not a sling, it's a backpack. I say, one strap, it is a sling. But it does look big for a supposedly five litre bag. This Patagonia one says it's eight litres, and looks smaller. How can that be? Maybe mine is actually ten litres?? This Patagonia one is probably very good, definitely lighter than mine, but just a different thing. The phone pocket on the strap is a nice touch. It's not stab proof though, mine is stab proof. OK it won't stop me getting stabbed, it's actually got some steel mesh inside it and steel cables in the straps to make it slash proof, less stealable. That's the theory.
This is the original one I bought but it's too small.
Wait a minute, this is the five litre, this is not mine! I have been kidding myself. Mine must be the ten litre version.
So I never had the two point five, it was the five I bought, found it to be too small, sent it back for the ten. This explains everything.
