Enjoyed the film at the IMAX screen in Ashford. Super impressive looking, and obviously a good story. Written by Christopher Nolan and Homer, it says on the credits, that amused me. It has been messed about with though, in a good way. I did find some of the jumping about a bit confusing and I think they prioritised different characters and parts of the story more than other versions. But have I actually seen another filmed version of this? What about Jason And The Argonauts, isn't that the same story?
Friend at work said Homer probably wasn't actually a person. The Odyssey was around as an oral tradition for ages, and it was traditional for blind people to be story tellers, and Homer means "the blind men" or something like that. I should look this up.
T2 went to see Minions and Monsters at the same time as he wasn't old enough, I don't think he liked it much. At least we did successfully meet up again after. My boys are so independent now.
We didn't eat out, we made pasta at home, and then we found Australian Ghosts on TV so have been bingeing that. I love it.
