Not actual rest like I claimed here I was straight in the car for a flying trip to Portchester. A nice time time, a chat with Mum and Dad, birthday cards exchanged then a drive back again.
I listened to Alice Roberts' audiobook Crypt on both legs of the journey, about death and disease in the middle ages. It seems like I have started out of order, she has four books called Ancestors, Buried, Crypt, and Domination. I spy a pattern, can she keep this up? It's good anyway, though I'm only on chapter four. I don't normally listen to audiobooks but it's good for a drive. Maybe we should do a long drive on holiday?
Now to make lunches for tomorrow and some tea for tonight. We have the choice of tofu stir fry or vegan quiche and Jersey royals.
T1 is revising, the house is quiet, I am already a bit sad and lonely.
Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze, 11 - 20℃.
