Another week gone quite quickly, are they speeding up? Been busy at work. Not enjoying it quite as much now there is more of a focus on AI but I'll get used to the new ways.
Nice evening in the Potting Shed, with a takeaway on the way home. Saw some friends who weren't expected to be out, they had been at the funeral earler of Ron, landlord The Clarendon. Sadly he died a couple of weeks ago. The pub has been closed since. We knew he had been ill, basically since his wife died a year earlier. We all assumed the pub would be sold for housing, but there is a glimmer of hope now that it will reopen. His son's partner is in the trade and they seem likely to take it on. Not sure why they didn't step in to run it while Ron was ill.
Right time for parkrun. Weather has taken a dip, well the temperature anyway. This is GOOD for opportunities to wear my new coat, but less good for going for a morning run.
Wife is going shopping today, think I will be at home either with a day of chores, or a day of sitting listening to records. It could go either way.
Light rain and a fresh breeze, 7 - 12℃.
