Sensibly short session in the Potting Shed yesterday. Went down there about 4pm and it was very quiet, very nice, but then started to fill up and friends came in. I had planned not to stay long, but this often goes out of the window. The particular friends I was sat with also could not stay long, so that worked out. Where I was going home again for tea, they were going to a gallery opening! That makes it sound swankier than it is, but it is a new artist run shop in Hythe anyway. So two and a half pints and on my way again. The others were just having their tea when I got in, I threw sausage and chips in the Ninja 1. They watched House while I ate and then we all watched the new Race Across The World. Great to have this back again, they're going from the South of Italy to Mongolia this time.
I woke up early, so got up early, so plenty of time to sort things out. Having a tea and then a coffee. Bag is packed, charger is charging, I don't have to set out for nearly an hour. I'll be walking to Folkestone, then parkrun, then walk to the station. Meet the others at the next stop, hopefully, as they will have some actual clothes for me to wear. Then we're off for a day in Battersea and Chelsea.
Weather could certainly be worse. It's cold enough still to make the heating come on, so my running shoes are warming nicely on a radiator ready for exercise.
Light cloud and a fresh breeze, 9 - 14℃.
Guessing 3128 ☕️ from my espresso machine 2 probably comes to 86.9p a cup (including 4+ years supply of the actual coffee and now servicing 2 but not the 'leccy).
