No excuses today for not running outside, so went for it. Couldn't really tell if the sun was up or not, visibility was just about zero. Not cold, but I was wearing my Patagonia waterproof running top and it got a bit hot really. I was in triple patagonia actually, matching socks and shorts and top, maybe that's too much. Thinking of getting a different running hoody to provide just the breathable warm, when I don't need the full waterproofing. Making myself a little shopping list for the end of the month actually...
Work quite productive today, I think we're on top of things. Had a good new idea which I think is going to work, sending our alerts into other teams' queues if it is clear it is something for someone else to deal with. I like it and going to work more on it at the end of the week.
I'm going to have to go to London this week, which means taking my kit and running in London too. Done it the last few years, it'll be fine.
There's free energy from Octopus Energy now 1, but with no washing machine still I can't use it. I will make a hot drink and do some ironing. The others are out at their pub quiz, I have been coding while watching snooker so far.
I have been making use of my electric throw while I've been working the last few days, I am tempted to get myself another one of those for the lounge. I could bring that one up, but it's quite nicely set up on my work chair and I don't want to have to unplug it and move it about really, but I'd kind of like one sometimes on my chair in the lounge. Maybe another thing for that shopping list I was going on about.
Temperature is supposedly going up, but it still doesn't seem nice out there, doesn't feel warm.
