That's good, every time I think about my pension, or lack of it, I only think of the one in the current job. It's not called a pension, it's call retirement savings, but it's piling up nicely. If I can work for another thirty years I might be OK. But, then I got that weird letter about another pension I'd forgotten about. It's not much, but it's more than nothing. Just. Then today I was sorting through my paperwork 1, I found the pension from my previous job. Now of course I should have a pension there, and as I was there for thirteen years it ought to be epic! Of course it's not, but it's got more in it than I thought. I can't afford to retire right now, but I'm not entirely without assets, which is nice.
It was another very nice day today. I sat on the balcony briefly to eat my lunch, surrounding by our washing. I've been hanging the washing out there to save energy. But then while I was enjoying my sandwich, my phone went. I am day time on call this week, hot on the heels of out of hours on call last week. Except last week I did not get called, and get paid extra , and this week I don't get any extra and I've already been called.
At least I claimed for the on call money today, nice, will see that Friday week.
A clear sky and light winds, 9 - 19℃.
