Busy week of work, but do-aable. I solved some things, I created some things, I put some stuff live, I fixed some of other people's problems. I did not have to stay late on Friday! In fact I got back the early finish I was owed from the week before.
Went for a walk after work about half four. In the general direction of the Potting Shed while I waited for my friend to respond. He said he might not be out anyway. Got about half way there and he replied, shall we go to Folkestone, The Three Mariners (or is it just The Mariners there?) has reopened and they have real ale. So I turned around and walked back to meet him in The Fountain. In the end we stayed in The Fountain, and it was OK, but I wish I had stuck to my guns, it was not as good as The Potting Shed would have been. In the end I came home early and rustled up some tea, from the freezer to the Ninja 1, and watched a film with the family. Catch Me If You Can, with Leonardo Dicaprio and Tom Hanks. They were in it, we did not watch it with them.
I am told I should listen to Olivia Rodrigo and I will like Olivia Rodrigo, but I am not convinced. We talked about Glastonbury, I am still not excited by the lineup. I am almost unexcited enough to just not go, but I think I'd regret that.
I am up in plenty of time for Parkrun today but surprisingly not quite feeling it... maybe a coffee or two before I go.
Sunny intervals and a fresh breeze, 2 - 7℃.
Guessing 2358 ☕️ from my espresso machine 2 probably comes to £0.94 a cup (including 3+ years supply of the actual coffee and now servicing 2 so not the 'leccy).
