Saturday started with Fareham parkrun. Could not talk T1 into doing it, so walked down on my own. Quite a good run, though a very slow start because it is so crowded.
Fareham parkrun results for event #386. Your time was 00:26:12.
Congratulations on completing your 170th parkrun and your 9th at Fareham parkrun today. You finished in 71st place out of a field of 267 parkrunners. You were the 63rd male and came 12th in your age category VM50-54. Take a look at this week's full set of results on our website. Your PB at Fareham parkrun remains 00:21:31. Congratulations on your fastest time this year.
That's my fastest time at Fareham this year, probably my only time at Fareham this year, not very fast.
Back to a leisurely morning, a lovely lunch, and then we went into Fareham. Just Clare, T1 and me, looking for Pokemon again. We went in B&M Home Bargains looking for sweets, and it had everything we needed. We got some the sweets, some great chili noodles, and even the Pokemon cards.
On the way back we went on a takeaway safari. We were planning a Chinese takeaway for dinner, the family getting together, but didn't fancy the usual Ruby. It doesn't have a big menu, and it has a low hygiene rating. Apart from that it's fine. We drove round a few locally to get menus and settled on one in Leith Avenue, so basically Paulsgrove. It was really good though, I got tofu and black bean, and everyone else got what they wanted too.
We played games after dinner too and had a hilarious time, particularly the boys.
A not drinking day for me, but not for everyone.
Next morning we went to Botley Mills and Deveroast for coffee, and to meet some friends. Great to spend an hour catching up, but all too quickly had to head off again. Normally would see these guys in the pub, maybe next time.
Splendid lunch, really good pie and really crispy potatoes, I stuffed myself.
Our journey home was a bit rap like the drive there, another detour off the A3 again. This time not because the road was actually closed, but Clare has an app that told us to take a detour.
Not that late home though, time to eat just a little of the leftover pie, and watch a Marple on TV.
