Also great news about new sleeper train Brussels to Venice 1, we could do a short trip there even though it ticks off no countries. It would for the kids if they stepped off in Vienna I suppose...
It's a new service that leaves from Brussels in the evening, then you wake up in Berlin in the morning, having traveled through Austria I think. Didn't I go from Brussels to Austria via Germany though? Different parts of Germany I guess, necessitating a different route. The train goes on to Czech Republic after that. All countries I've done, but might be a nice trip for us to do next year anyway. It is winter only, might not be the best time to do those cities, but it might.
