Blog2024 ≫ Runuary day 22

Clare working a late today, so she was still here at lunchtime. I got a lift in to Folkestone with her and ran back. It is a lot warmer out today, but I was cold right through before I went out. Also the wind was blowing against me all the way home. Lucky to have avoided rain etc. Still, done it, surely in the final furlong now. Nine more days to go.

Felt a lot slower than that. If it weren't for the wind it might have been a good one then.

We have got a trip to the O2 for T2's school choir thing in that time, and we have a lift to and from London on a coach! What a time to not be drinking. Clare is going to skip dryanuary that day but I think I'll stick with it. Not really enjoying this though, didn't really enjoy this weekend. There was definitely a couple of beer shaped holes in it.

Need a day off for that O2 trip, and speaking of days off I think I will be buying an extra week's holiday from work. Haven't really got a plan for it but I probably have enough money and not quite enough time. So, that will be nice to know I've got a bonus week I can use.

Looks like I am not going to Welwyn Garden City now either on the 9th, as I did not sign up in time.

dryanuary: Not drinking for all of January.
