Blog2024 ≫ Runuary day five

New plan. Mostly because I was too lazy to get up in the morning and run, but partly just for the change of it. Running at lunch, Clare going to work about this time, so I got a lift with her to Folkestone. A small loop in the town and then run back, that's my 5km done for the day.

I drove both boys to school this morning. T1 started part way through the week, and likes the reassurance of his bus pass running from Monday to Monday, so he's been getting lifts. I had to get T2 moving a bit earlier so I could he could come with me and I could drop him off on the way back.

Fairly relaxed morning at work, doing some routine work that I like. Pay day today, which means 15% discount day, but what with the lunchtime run I have no time to get up to Tesco. Maybe on the way back from collecting T1 from school later. If the Beetle starts ok...

There were two hours of free energy this morning from 7am to 9am, unusual times for this. Still I got up and put a wash and dry in at this time. Sign up here1.

First Friday night not drinking for a while tonight.

Light cloud and a moderate breeze, 4 - 7℃.

5k: Five km, just over three miles to you.
