After our lunch in Sandgate we headed to Walmer Castle for a long booked christmas event. We were a bit early so went for a walk up and down the beach in the fairly grotty weather. Walked up to the castle, a bit early, can we get in? Sorry, didn't you get the e-mail? The event has been cancelled today because of the high winds. No we didn't check our e-mails on a Saturday afternoon, but it looks like they only sent it after we'd set out anyway. So, we drove home again via Dover. Stopped in at M&S to get some of the wintery treat type food we might have eaten at the castle. While we were there looked in JD Sports and ended up buying T2 two new pairs of trainers.
I got a Chinese takeaway from Nine Dragons, as my earlier lunch had not really filed me up, and I have plenty left over for tea today, and we watched Candy Cane Lane1 with Eddie Murphy. He's in it, he did not watch it with us.
