Blog2023 ≫ Smart christmas tree lights are better this year

This is good, got the decoration out of the loft, including the smart extension lead that I got from Lidl one time. I see it on Home Assistant, and I can turn the tree lights on and off. It's connected through the IKEA hub but only one of the 3 sockets on it is going on and off. From the switch on it I can turn off all of them. I remembered something like this, but thought it was all on / all off last time. So, I reset it, connect it directly via home assistant usb zigbee dongle etc and now I can control the three outlets independently. And there are other sensors available. It even has some USBs on there I've not used, don't suppose they're smart controllable. Pleased with this, shame it's no longer available, I could do with another one.
