I don't use the previous Octopus widget for energy monitoring, I only rely on the api for the graph you see here. This new thing integrates with Home Assistant though so I can get live monitoring of energy on my home automation dashboards.
Exciting news! Your Home Mini is on the way and will be with you in the next couple of weeks.
Your Home Mini will enable you to see incredibly detailed consumption data, including a live feed of exactly what your home is importing - or exporting - in real-time.
When your Home Mini arrives, please watch our 60 second video or spend a few minutes reading the manual included. Set-up is really simple: you just scan the QR code on the bottom of the Home Mini and follow the steps in the Octopus mobile app.
As a beta product there may be some wobbles, but we'll be here to support you. It's worth checking out our Home Mini guide before getting in touch but if there's anything we've missed, please just respond to this email.
We're really excited to see what we can do together with this nifty piece of tech!_
Damn, there is free energy tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm. I did look today before I put two washes and one tumble dry on! Will be handy using the heated drying rack if there is rain tomorrow like there was today.
