Just drove to Folkestone to pick up some birthday balloons and while it briefly cleared it is now torrential again. As expected Sandgate was flooded. Clare told us not to drive that way but I couldn't resist a look. Everyone going very slowly through it causing a bit of a delay, so did not come that way on the way back. Everywhere there could be an excessively large puddle there was one, and the roads were all flowing like streams. All the leaves blocking the drains are not helping.
I remembered I used to add some weather context to my blog posts regularly a while ago, not sure why I stopped. Some script disappeared. Anyway here you go: 43Kph winds and thundery showers, 8 - 12℃.
