Blog2023 ≫ Premium bonds prize day

£100 for me! That's nice. I was thinking of cashing some in recently, I should have cashed some in to pay my tax bill, as when I put the money aside for tax that's where I put it. Instead I have just sucked that up and am having a relatively frugal month. Then I thought I was going to cash some in to buy a new car, or at least increase the deposit on the new car, but again now we managed with out it. In that case I think we have only put it off for three years when we'd definitely have to contribute some sort of lump sump. But no, premium bonds still building up (this prize just got reinvested in more premium bonds) and the stonks are having a good week after a stinker last week. It's all about Lloyds for me as they are the biggest part of my portfolio.

Weather is very quiet here, sun is out, though felt cold waking up. Heating did not come on.

I was at Super Furry Animals today in 1999 at Brixton Academy. There's another quite good venue that I've been to quite a lot that might just disappear.
