Blog2023 ≫ Home automation recommendation

I have a couple of these energy monitoring plugs 1, you can control the power using the app or Home Assistant, and they monitor the power usage too. I got them with a view to monitoring when the washing machine had been on and how many times I use the coffee machine. Haven't done either of those yet but I have one connected to the coffee machine and one to the Ninja 2. Just have not used enough energy to do anything with yet. I will buy more of these come pay day I think.

Estimated 1354 cups of actual coffee ☕️ from my espresso machine 1 probably comes to £1.17 a cup (including the coffee ☕️ and servicing 1 so not the 'leccy).

  2. My 11-in-1 multi cooker I bought in February 2023 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09C874YNC?tag=clarkeology-21 wonder how many times I have used it?
