If I remove all the content from before this year the build time of this site goes to sixty seconds. That nearly works, as the old content is still there, but it's mostly not linked to. What if I did a "big build" once a week that build a config file, and then just did an actual rebuild of just this week's content every week? I think I will give that a go at the weekend.
