I'm on a roll now, having got the plumber out to fix the leak last week, I'm getting another one today to replace the constantly trickling toilet cistern. Different toilet to last week. Next stop electrician or builder..?
The power tripped at the weekend. Something overloading the system, sometimes it is the iron that seems to be doing this but not this time. Everything was on, cooker, tumble dryer, washing machine, everyone was on in on a dfferent device. Resetting the trip switch normally does it, but it tripped again. So I went round turning things off until it did come back. Have possibly narrowed it down to one lamp.
One "interesting" side effect of turning the power on and off is it if you turn the smart bulbs on and off four times in quick succession then they reset themselves. So it meant most of the smart bulbs disconnected themselves and are now uncontrollable. Hmm did I say this yesterday? Yes I did. Is this what dementia is like?
I will try replacing the bulb in the offending lamp, then try replacing the lamp, then if not get an electrician out to look at that socket. Then if not get the whole house rewired.
