Blog2023 ≫ I did do some actual work work

Yesterday I said I was inspired to and I actually did it today, took a few hours to sort something for work, so I can present it tomorrow. Seems to be working nicely, I hope it is not too complicated.

Today started a bit gloomily weather-wise, but it picked up in time for us to go out. I was just heading off to the bandstand in Hythe when I checked the times with my friend and he said "oh yeah, it's the bandstand in Folkestone". So nearly headed off in the wrong direction. We got the bus in, and while the Beatles tribute band were really good the boys did not have much patience for it. Once they'd had their icecream and their slushy they were bored again. We walked down to the Coastal Park for a bit of a run about there, then back up the zigzag path, a few more minutes of the band. Caught up with my friend I'd arranged to meet there, and he said "are you still on for running tomorrow?"... Had forgotten I'd offered to do some lunchtime runs with him! Still, will be good for both of us.

Started watching Wolf1 last night on bbc iplayer. It's billed as a crime series but it's more like a horror really. It's good, but OTT and I was guessing in advance the things that were going to happen.
