As I already said I did not go to parkrun on Saturday morning, because of the continuing extreme weather. A continuation of "yesterday"1, the final Friday of the holiday, also extreme rain and flooding.
So, jobs to do, a little shopping, feed the cat, drop something round someone's house, took most of the morning. Still time saved with no parkrun and no dropping the kids off as Grandpa is away (hence the cat feeding).
Walked to Hythe with another friend in the afternoon, in the absolute belting rain. We had a few pints in The Three Mariners and then went for an early curry in the Vinodhon, very nice.
