Second day at Center Parcs started with T2's lake adventure.
AquaParc
Bounce, balance and zoom across our outdoor, inflatable water obstacle course, fun for all the family on the lake. Minimum age 6 years.
This was back by the sports plaza, in the lake. Well it had to be really. It's a water based obstacle course, a bit like total wipeout. Sort of. He put on a wetsuit and he had to swim out to the huge inflatable, and then basically run around it for an hour. There were things to climb on and over, opportunities to fall in, and opportunities to jump in. Looked like this:
Back to swimming after this. Not sure how we did lunch, we did take some food with us to make lunch. The bread we got from Sainsburys was mouldy though so it might not have been today. I took a picture of the outdoor bit of the swimming, this is the rapids. You enter the outdoor bit top middle and basically work clockwise round this artificial river, bruising your elbows and stretching your back as you go.
In the afternoon T1 did quadbiking. We had to walk a long way to this one, back out through the front of the park where we had driven in. He did well on the quadbiking, they had a little trial and split them into two groups and he was put in with the adults rather than the kids. Then when they started off and they must have thought he was driving a bit cautiously as they put him back in the kids group again. After the event he pointed out, they'd said keep a five metre gap, and he did, and they seemed to have forgotten this. Maybe they only meant a five metre gap for the first bit, and he missed out on some fast driving.
Quad Bike Safari 12-15 years
Take on the challenging terrain of our purpose-built track with your tough, go-anywhere quad bike. Adrenaline-fuelled and fast-paced fun thrills and adventure. Ages 12 to 15 years.
For dinner we had Las Iguanas, it's a sort of South American mix of food. We had sharing vegan nachos with extra vegan chilli on as a starter and it was great. Then I had burger and salad and not chips because I thought I had eaten to much. This was great food.
