More swimming. We went without Clare though as she had a massage booked and would join us later. This was our most packed day I think, as we'd also booked the bowling for before lunch, and then we had the cabana in the afternoon. Our plan was get all the swimming in in the morning, so we could enjoy the poolside cabana for itself in the afternoon, without feeling the need to keep heading into the pool again. So in the morning, swim swim swim, rapids, flumes, cyclone, typhoon, all of it.

At some point here T1's new apple watch fell out of the locker, and smashed. They're very fragile aren't they? He's only had it a few weeks. It's still useable but the glass is broken in one corner. As I did it, if it gets any worse I'll get it repaired or replace it. Annoying though.

We got lunch from the shop, prepacked sandwiches and crisps, instead of the poolside burger I originally thought. The burgers didn't look that great, and we were eating pretty badly (or well, however you see it) so something a bit healthier was in order. Sandwiches though, so not much healthier.

We did the bowling and it was fine, bit of fun. We used the free jukebox again. Then to the cabana!

This was a planned highlight for me before the trip, I had built it up. Instead of just walking round the pool, or perhaps finding a chair or a lounger if you're lucky, you can pay extra for your own private bit of the pool. It is roped off, has sofas and chairs, a TV, a fridge stocked with soft drinks, and clean towels! What a treat! We enjoyed this. I did watch Countdown, I hoped I had timed it correctly, and I had. We did still go back to the pool from the cabana, but we also sat and enjoyed the cabana. We were going to bring some food and drinks in from the shop but instead the boys had the soft drinks and Clare and I got some wine from the bar. Very decadent.

Inside the cabana, with countdown on the tv. Yes the TV looks like an iphone, and the numbers round was very easy...

Yes the TV does look like an iphone, and that numbers round was very easy.

A bit of a rush from there to badminton back at the sports plaza. This went quite well, T2 got bored with his lack of success quite quickly, and Clare sat out after a while too. T1 and I enjoyed it and it was over a bit quickly. I asked Clare to take some pictures and video of us playing badminton, but to be honest it's mostly like a monkey got hold of my phone.

Badminton

Our final dinner of the trip was a curry, and I would say it was only OK. It was nice enough, the service was very slow (we think they were short staffed) and the food was all a bit bland. I had a chilli balti dish and it wasn't too spicy.

We didn't have very late nights here which is good, better to have early mornings and make more of the day.
