Blog2023 ≫ Friday day off 6. The Betsey Trotwood

We'd been in The Betsey Trotwood before for gigs, but as we'd passed it thought we'd have a look in. Always forget it is a Shepherd Neame, so the beer is not great. We all had a half, and a final chat before going out separate ways.

Alwyn and I walked back to Kings Cross, down unfamiliar roads, but we made it to a good train.

Tried to get a taxi to pick us up, but failed, they're not answering. Clare was not long back from her long day of work though so she offered to pick us up, and did. What a star.

A great day out, all went smoothly and I did not feel too bad for getting up and running the next morning.

One last picture, of the Betsey Trotwood, but if you zoom in you can see St Paul's and The Shard in the background.
