Blog2023 ≫ Now with extra complicated packing options...

Friend I'm going to Iron Maiden with says why not leave a bag of stuff with him, as he's going in the car direct to the hotel. Then I don't have to go to the hotel or carry round too much stuff on the day when we go on a bit of a pub crawl the day before the actual gig. I said I travel super light anyway, toothbrush in pocket and just peel off one layer of clothes and throw away. There might be something though. Means I can keep my KISS t-shirt nice without having to wear it all the day before. Probably means traveling with two toothbrushes, not taking the full wash bag and razor to London with me, just pick it up in the midlands. I can do this.

Maybe time to revisit my travel site. I see I rated my "throw the first days clothes away" highly, but that's not going to work this time. I'm not just traveling in this stuff, I'm gigging in it. I want to wear a gig t-shirt. I'm thinking possibly buy a Motley Crue t-shirt at the gig... I had a look at them online, the official ones are very expensive and there are loads of knock offs. I'm not a knock off kind of guy these days...
