Blog2023 ≫ Pizza three days in a row

Pizza for T1's actual birthday on Thursday, from Domino's, then reheated leftover pizza for tea on Friday. Then today, his birthday treat day, we're going bowling and to Pizza Express.

After going to London on Wednesday I did not need to go in on Thursday. My new regime of "every other week" does not quite seem to have kicked in yet, I think I'll be going in next week too. Still no trouble really. I had to get up at quarter to five on Thursday to help test something for work, but by the time I put the laptop on they were all done. I carried on working anyway, and then carried on all day as there's lots to do and I'm quite into what I'm doing.

We did parkrun, it is hella hot out there. I helped with the setup this time, and the packing away at the end, so that counts as two volunteer credits. Then as it was hot, it was a bit slow, but worst of all I forgot to start my watch. So on my own stats it looks like I only did 4km.

Thank you very much for your support at Folkestone parkrun, event 387 on 2023-06-10. You've now volunteered at this event on 14 separate occasions.

T1 was "run director" this time. Well, assistant run director. He didn't do much but he did start the run, with his megaphone. I did loads, I think I should get three volunteer credits. At least we all got certificates today:

Did I say it is hot?
