Blog2023 ≫ I knew there would be Blur warm-up shows

Small venues super limited tickets for these, have a smashing time if you're going. Seen Blur enough times I think, and unlikely to beat this one.

Having said I did not want to see Morrissey when he comes to Folkestone, my friend has bought me a ticket. We will discuss it tomorrow. I do appreciate the thought but don't really want to go to the gig.

Very busy at work today. Supposed to be "tech improvement day", and I thought I'd completed my great tech improvement right at the beginning of the day. Then lots of holdups, other problems to work around, and other people to help. Then right at the end of the day I found my big fix didn't actually fix anything. I think I'd fixed it, tested it, tidied up, pushed it live, and in the "tidying up" bit had removed the bit that made the important change. Still, done again now and ready to go right after the bank holiday.

Pay day, so I did buy some wine and some new swimming trunks. Not going crazy though, better hold some money back for that wall.

Just waiting for Clare to get in now so I can go briefly to the pub. Rubbish weekend for her, she's working tomorrow too, and Sunday. Hoping we can all go out for dinner after she finishes on Sunday night, and then have a relaxing Sunday together.
