Blog2023 ≫ I removed all the covid graph generation

Covid is gone now isn't it? I have decided to stop logging coronavirus rates on here. Up until today I was still recalculating all of the history of it each time and building graphs on the old pages, even though I haven't been adding it to blog posts in the last year. I think I've removed graphs from more of the old pages than I intended, but it's fine1. I've got a backup. Removing that calculation has done precisely nothing for the build time though... What a good use of my time2.

Not as productive a day as I would have liked. Yesterday was good, we did go swimming, and it was nice. There was a bit of trouble at the beginning of our session, a family were trying it on, trying to get into the next session for free. They got turned away but then somehow managed it again and none of the staff could get them out of the pool. They tried briefly closing the pool, this one family would still not get out, there was not a lot they could do so they just let them carry on. The boys enjoyed the waterslides and the lazy river, not a lot of actual swimming going on, but a nice holiday activity.

After we went to Luben, and it was very good. Quite busy there. I had the vegan lasagne for the first time, and Clare convinced me she had driven last time we went so it was my turn this time, hmm... Luben did seem to have one new trick, the padron peppers portion was smaller but padded out with some leaves to make it look bigger. Hmm again.

This morning up and out to the sports centre, and to pump class again. Different instructor this time, it was exhausting. This is the "normal" instructor for Sundays apparently so it will always be this hard.

I had plans to do jobs today, mostly did cooking though. Triple ninja! Cooked lunch for me, then spaghetti bolognaise for the week, and then arrabiata for tea tonight. Quadruple ninja really as I cooked the sausages to go in the pasta sauce seperately.

Still some ironing to do but I did none of the gardening and jetwashing I thought I might get round to.
