Fitted a new letterbox and mowed the lawn, so the house looks marginally less scruffy now. I might trim the hedge and jetwash the front path tomorrow, go absolutely crazy.
I got the new letterbox from Wickes, and even though there were warnings about having to cut it to size according to the thickness of the door, it fitted perfectly first time. So we have a less scruffy letterbox on the outside and the inside. I forgot the inside flap of this broke off around the time we moved in and have just got used to it. Might help a bit with insulation too, for energy savings.
