While we were away looks like the mouse came back. I had a couple of traps in the kitchen, they have been there for weeks with no action. One was the friendly trap him and let him go outside one. The other a more serious and less vegan entirely sealed fatal trap. It has a little flag that pops up, when that happens and the door is closed there is a dead mouse inside. It looks like the non-fatal one was triggered and then the end cap popped off, so did the mouse get in and out again? After that he must have gone in the fatal trap. Let's hope that's an end to it.
I cleaned out the cupboard under the sink when I did my big DIY plumbing job on the Thursday of my long weekend too. There was mouse evidence there...
