Up not quite early enough for Parkrun really. I woke T1 up too to see if he wanted to come to Sainsburys with me before Parkrun and look for this Prime Hydration drink all the kids are going crazy for but he did not! I drove into Folkestone, parked there, and tried on his behalf, but no. Apparently they had loads of them on the first day this week but have not restocked since.
It was much, much colder than it looked for the actual run. I kept my hoodie on and went quite slow, over twenty-five mins.
Folkestone parkrun results for event #373. Your time was 00:25:16.
Congratulations on completing your 113th parkrun and your 101st at Folkestone parkrun today. You finished in 97th place and were the 79th Male out of a field of 329 parkrunners and you came 11th in your age category VM50-54. Take a look at this week's full set of results on our website. Your PB at Folkestone parkrun remains 00:20:50. Your best time this year remains 00:23:24.
I went to the other Sainsbury's after that but still no joy. Home for soup for lunch, and now a bit of sitting about. We're going back into Folkestone later to go to https://www.cocomee.co.uk for dinner, should be good.
My Ninja multicooker arrived1, actually turned up yesterday when I was out. I unpacked it today and now have some instructions to read. It is about twice the size of our old slow cooker that it is replacing. It does a lot more obviously, and I wonder how much use we'll get out of it. As long as we can use it as a slow cooker it's worth having. Also thinking I can do baked potatoes pretty quickly in this. Friend I was out with last night said they cook ssamosas in theirs and they are good.
