Blog2023 ≫ Eco ninety-minutes today

Now this is a more challenging ask today, to turn the power off from 4.30pm to 6pm today. I put it to T1 already (it's just after 7am as I write this and he's the only other one up) and he grumbled gently. T2 will at least get some gaming time from 3.15 to 4.30pm. Unfortunatly T1's football club is cancelled today, or he would not even notice. A challenging ask but I think we can do it.

I have not run yet today, and now I've started breakfast so not doing it this morning. Kind of forcing myself to run outside at lunchtime.

Going to London tomorrow so will be doing that run outside too. Then Runuary will be nearly done, we'll be in the final week.

Today in 1991 was that Revolting Cocks gig at the London Astoria, the one I have (had?) a video of where I can see myself stagediving. Did I put it online? Today 1997 I was at Kula Shaker and today in 1996 I have it down that I was at something, something I chose over Placebo at the Joiners, though I'm losing confidence in this a bit. I remember someone going to Placebo and interviewing them, and it's in my fanzine $old Out, but was that really at the Joiners while I was at the Wedgewood Rooms? Or is it the other way round1? I think Bush were somewhere in this mix of two gigs on the same night too. I will try and do more research later. I still have this tab open2 which details loads of things at the Wedgewood Rooms but doesn't have this day. It does have it that the cabaret was the 26th Jan, we used to go to a lot of those, so it wasn't that. This one ws Mark Lamarr, The man with the beard, The Amazing Louise, Green Hornets, Owen Schumaker and would have been a Friday, so 24th Jan 1996 was a Wednesday. Maybe something at the Uni, where I think I was working at this time. It's still a mystery right now.

Clare is up now too and not sure about energy saving hour, she wants that time to get ready for work the following day. We'll do the best we can, if we keep the oven and washing machine and tumble dryer and kettle off for this time it saves most of it.

runuary: Running at least 5k every day for the month of January.
