Blog2023 ≫ Another eco-hour

Eco hour not just for Octopus customers today but lots more were joining in, and it would have been good for everyone to join in even if there's no chance of a discount. From 5pm - 6pm today we turned all the power off, doesn't look like many of the neighbours did though. I read by torchlight, Clare and T2 did Bond practice by torchlight, and T1 looked at his phone. Will see tomorrow or the day after if we saved much energy. It was peak time so I hope so. After it was over we cooked our pasta and part baked bread.

Busy at work today, though I did manage to fix a problem, quite achieveous really. I did to raise my voice a bit dealing with another department.

We have a new rug coming tomorrow, that's about as exciting as this month gets. Runuary makes it tiring, Dryanuary makes it a bit boring, trying to get back on top of the finances and give myself a big buffer by spending as little as possible makes it even more boring.

Pavement today in 1997 and Travis today in 1998. Tomorrow is the thirty-second anniversaty of one of my favourite gigs.

dryanuary: Not drinking for the month of January.

runuary: Running at least 5k every day for the month of January.
