Blog2023 ≫ I did some Lego

Actually the boys did the lego and I fitted a lighting kit to it, the effect is quite good. There are now lights inside the rooms, and the street light works, and for some reason the plant on the roof lights up. It took me hours it's a bit complex. See it here:

Looks like there are more train strikes and this will affect me going to work AND going to a gig. ANd the day of work is the day we've rescheduled our work social to Bounce (ping pong), so it would not be a proper day of work. The strike is scheduled for the 1st and the 3rd and my London day is the 2nd, but early trains on the 2nd might still be affected, and also late trains that day, so do I want to gamble staying late and not getting home? I do really want to go to the gig, it's my friend MJ Hibbett1's 1000th gig.

Runuary / Dryanuary / Veganuary day seventeen. I got moving a bit faster and did the whole 5km before breakfast today.

Three different events from this day in my gigography, today in 1996 Perfume at the Joiners, today in 1997 The Wedding Present at ULU and today in 2001 some sort of TV recording at Riverside Studios, Hammersmith featuring Alisha's Attic and Orbital and more.

5k: Five km, just over three miles in old money.

dryanuary: Not drinking for all of January.

runuary: Running at least 5k every day for the month of January.
