They always close at this time of year, but "until further notice" seems serious. I can't help feeling responsible, Not just dryanuary (though this pisses off all pub landlords) but I didn't go there new years eve or christmas day when I said I would. I hope they reopen again, it is a real focus of local life. I can understand if they decide to move on though
As well as dryanuary and veganuary1 day sixteen it's runuary day sixteen today too. We're over halfway through the month! I did the treadmill again today, 2km before breakfast and another 3km before lunch. I think it still counts if you break it up like that, doesn't it? I will try and do a longer run in one go at the weekend. It was pretty cold today, and heavy rain overnight, but the two did not combien to make the forecast snow. Maybe overnight.
I didn't really enjoy my weekend, partly it's dryanuary. I had a lot of time to myself on Saturday and I would normally have gone to the pub to see who was about and had a good time. There's a lot of this "not drinking" about at the moment though, it's all the rage, I hope it does not kill off all the pubs (see above).
Today in 1997 the second day of my brat bus tour with the NME. It was either Leeds or Manchester today. I met Tim Burgess of The Charlatans at one of these shows because his girlfriend was the tour photographer.
I just rearranged my gigs homepage very slighty to rearrange them, get them in a better order. No-one is looking though and they don't seem to be indexed by google now for some reason, so probably no-one but me will ever know.
dryanuary: Not drinking for the month of January.
runuary: Running at least 5k every day for the month of January.
