Fiercely wet and windy parkrun today:

Folkestone parkrun results for event #367. Your time was 00:25:27.

Congratulations on completing your 108th parkrun and your 97th at Folkestone parkrun today. You finished in 51st place and were the 41st Male out of a field of 178 parkrunners and you came 7th in your age category VM50-54. Take a look at this week's full set of results on our website. Your PB at Folkestone parkrun remains 00:20:50. Congratulations on your fastest time this year.

Clare was working, but sorted this one out by taking her to work, and then taking the boys with me to parkrun. They sat in the cafe running up that bill, while I was running against the wind and the rain. Original plan was to take Clare to work and just drop her off but she didn't know what time she'd be finishing and wanted the car handy, so I took the Beetle in, drove the Hyundai back, and then swapped later after dropping the boys off at grandpa's house. Yes I probably should just get seatbelts in the Beetle, but this would give Clare less to complain about. I also went to Specsavers to collect my new glasses. Could not be bothered to do much more around town, so just called in supermarkets looking for the best alcohol free beers, and home. Tesco took ages because of the roadworks there, they're really making a mess of that bit of town.

Not much to actually do today now, will listen to some vinyl, read some comigs, do some ironing and watch TV. Will try not to do any work, but I have an idea going round my head that I want to exorcise.

A free Lush gig today in 1995, in Guildford.
