Last day of the new year break then. Last day of the christmas holiday too for the boys. They're back to school tomorrow, I hope their uniforms still fit.
I went out, actually out of the house for my run this morning. Just to Hythe, round Waitrose and back. Didn't go until nearly midday. I would have gone earlier but had to help take the christmas decorations down. Still Runuary day two done. Not sure I'm going to be able to keep it up but we'll see, 2/2 so far. Also Dryanuary day two, think I'll be fine with that, that will be easier.
After that to Ashford for Pizza Express. This was T2's prize for winning the Clarke Cup over new years. He actually tied with Clare, and they both would have chosen Pizza Express anyway.
Not much apart from that. Went to Tesco, got some vegan burgers that I have not tried before, the "Beyond Meat" ones, as they were reduced. I am not really giving them a fair chance as I decided to have them inside a fruit and cinnamon bagel, with some guacamole, and probably some mushrooms too. Sweet and savoury together works like that doesn't it? The mushrooms are also a wildcard here, but I made a bolognaise for the week and have some left over.
After tea, or perhaps even during tea, we're watching a film. Maybe Addams Family if we can find it? We enjoyed Wednesday so much, I think the boys will like it.
In the morning the rush starts again.
dryanuary: Not drinking for all of January.
runuary: Running at least 5k every day for the month of January.
