Blog2022 ≫ Christmas holiday starts here

Alarm set for FOUR AM IN THE MORNING, good grief. Busy day at work done again. When I wasn't busy I was beating my head against some typescript. I still hate it, it's solving a problem that we don't have and slowing us down as we go.

Tea done, Clare is at work, the boys are watching a terrible TV show. I'm having a shower, then we'll watch one episode of something Marvel together, then to bed.

Seventeen years ago we were at The Tears, this was Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler getting back together in the interval when Suede were split up. Not memorable really. The bit I do remember is that we stayed in the pub and didn't watch the supports, one of whom was The Magic Numbers who we then loved, gah. Twenty-one years ago today The Hives, probably went with some people from Channelfly. Are they Swedish? The Hives I mean, not the people from Channelfly that I went with. They wore skinny ties I think. Again, the band, not the ex-workmates. Right back to twenty-six years ago today, part of a trio of Manic Street Preachers gigs, that I also barely remember.

Time for bed.
