Very cold, but not yet freezing. T1 is still sick off school, think he's not going in tomorrow either. T2 still find, and I am still annoyingly fine, so likely to go into the office on Thursday. At work they're all dropping like flies though so we'll see. Still not drinking and went to bed super early again last night.
Taking an hour out tomorrow afternoon to go and see T2's christmas play at school. He is "a school inspector", it is a nativity with a twist, a play about a school putting on a nativity play, so meta. The script is recycled from when T1 was at school, and they still have all the original names of the kids in his clas on the script. He was "annoying clever kid" when they did it.
We have our dinners backwards this week. We always have penne arrabiata on a Monday, but I was too busy to make it at the weekend. I cobbled one together at lunchtime today, so we're having it tonight. After I've been out to get some pasta that is. As soon as Clare gets in from work I'm out the door to the shop.
Exercise is out the window at the moment. I hadn't been feeling 100% for ages, following covid and then the vaccine. Now I'm better I still don't have the time. Hoping to do Parkrun on Saturday morning, but it will be very cold.
Five years ago today in 2017 I went to see The Wedding Present in Dover. Went with a new friend I'd just made at the Inn Doors and his friend who I'd not met before and we are now the greatest of friends who go out every weekend, brilliant!
