Blog2022 ≫ Oh we went out on Sunday

A family dinner for Jim's birthday, at the Radnor Arms, Folkestone. It is a nice place place, and even nicer when someone else is paying. Clare's rich bro generously footed the entire bill. I had a beetroot wellington, and Clare had roast chicken. T1 had some sort of fancy hotdog and T2 had roast chicken too. I don't think it was a children's portion. We could have done with some veges, I guess we were supposed to order them separately but we didn't know, and we had given our menu choices in advance. I would not rush back there again, though I can appreciate that it is a nice place and could be the backdrop to a really good do.

Again I was not drinking.

I do like the decor in there, they have that "old planks to make it look like you're in a shed" thing going on that I really want for my study.
