Blog2022 ≫ 22,000 pages on this site are not indexed by the google

No idea why, maybe too many links and not enough content or something. It's all a mystery. How much of my old content are people missing out on? What about this old popex story about the Foo Fighters? Is it because of the broken link there1? Maybe just because this post2 is part of the content I shipped in from popex, when popex closed down. Does the google think it is stolen content or something? That really was mine. It's the oldest content on this site as it goes, it's from nearly twenty-three years ago. There would have been other popex content older than that, but maybe it was stored in a different format or something, and is lost forever. This "content" at least is not lost, just currently lost to google.

Something happened in September, another 1000 pages of mine were added to the index, not sure what happened then. I made a change this week to make the content a bit less spammy, I wonder if that will make a difference at some point. I think I'll try and remove more of the links, so the content to links ratio is a bit higher. And then I should try and say more interesting things? Hmm, that sounds too hard, think I'll just remove some of the links.

The Foo Fighters at Highbury Garage though, can you imagine?
