Blog2022 ≫ Wall mounting the TVs

The guy I spoke to this morning called back, came round, and did his best to put me off wall mounting these TVs. The playroom TV is really too heavy to go on that kind of wall with a swing out bracket, but it could be mounted straight. But he can't run the cable inside these dot and dab (or is it dab and dot) walls. Then in the lounge he says it's a big job, for two people, and while he could run the cables I should replace the John Lewis sideboard that is under the TV first, to make sure it looks right. I said I want rid of it and to replace it all with one low unit that runs the length of the wall. It doesn't sound like this job is getting done this year.
