Blog2022 ≫ 6am start, so of course I had an early night

No, I should have had an early night, but then I watched what I thought was the last episode of The Watcher (good but weird and unresolved at the end) and then it wasn't the last episode, so I watched the last episode too. Then I watched an episode of that new SAS drama which was really good too. Then up at 6am for work. This time the thing I had to test had actually been done, and it all went well. That's another tick for me, and I get a half day off too to take soon. Maybe next Friday for David Devant.

Banking on winning the premium bonds this month. Have they increased the prizes yet because of the crazy inflation? I thought I was going to have a month with plenty of money left over this month, it was all looking so good. I forgot the first-of-the-month payments though. I get paid every four weeks but I still have some hefty outgoings that come out monthly, so while they used to come out right after pay day for the last two years they have not. Council tax, electricity and gas bill, some magazine and other subscriptions. TV licence, window cleaner. So that wiped out my little buffer I thought I had. I don't know where it all goes!!

I did buy shares this month as there was a massive dip, and we had T2's birthday to pay for, and the little treats like Conchitas. Also I save a lot, premium bonds and extra pension contribution and share save. I did another share save this month. And then I bought Motley Crue tickets too! Today is the thirty-third anniversary of the first time I saw Motley Crue, at Wembley, and next July Andy and I are going back there again. This time they're on a double-header with Def Leppard1 Also the show starts at about 3pm so I'm hoping there are more bands on the bill.

There was a van outside the neighbour's house advertising TV and satellite services including wall mounting TVs and cabling and things, so I had a word and took a card and am going to finally get someone to quote for it. Actually he just called me back and he's coming round now. Hoping to get all the cabling hidden inside the wall without too much hassle.

Turns out I do know where it all goes.
