Blog2022 ≫ Hot parkrun, within a second of last week

Back to usual Friday night Inn Doors routine and down there not long after opening. Just for three pints and then got some chips on the way home.

Luckily woke up in time for Parkrun as I did not set an alarm. Walked there, ran, it was hotter than they said, and I felt it. Felt slow, basically the same time as last week. That's 95 done, five more for my next t-shirts. Next Parkrun is going to be in ROME!

Should be at a party tonight for two friends birthdays, but I did not have time to get there, jobs to do this weekend to get ready for the holiday. A week from the time I'm writing this I will be in Brussels, several Belgian Beers down.

Did find time to go swimming today, to Deal, then on to Ashford to exchange a birthday top that Clare bought me for a bigger size, and also get thing one some holiday shoes. Still got more holiday things to get tomorrow. We didn't have lunch because that was the swimming time, so we had a super early dinner at Pizza Express. Something about the timing of it, being extra hungry, made it really really good. And I used a voucher I got for my birthday to pay for it, and Clare used the app to get some freebies too. Lovely!

Quiet night in.
